Hello Again!
I was really happy to reveal the cover of a new book this week. In fact, it was not one cover but two! This one will be published in two languages, English and Finnish. It will be packed with tales from one of Finland's oldest and most haunted cities...Rauma!
My co-writer and I, Saana Jaakkola, are currently busy planning and researching the book, which has included many visits to various buildings, reputed to be haunted. Listening to accounts of unexplained incidents and tales passed down over the years is a great way to build a fascinating and entertaining book. I also have to admit that several times during these visits, the hairs on my neck have been literally standing on end!!!

It is a great pleasure to work with our publisher, Tiina Hautala from Haamu Kustannus to prepare this book. Haamu are experts in the genre of horror and the supernatural, so our book has definitely found the right home. We thank our illustrator Suvi Kari for this amazing cover and no doubt look forward to the creative use of our photographs throughout the book. I am sure you are going to love the finished work!
Also, as well as being busy on the book, we are preparing a book tour for October when it will be launched into shops, libraries and online, just in time for Halloween! I hope to meet you in person or even virtually at one of our events 👻
